Dustan R. Paulhamus, 29, of Williamsport, known affectionately as “D- Boy” lived his life with the throttle wide open and a heart full of love. His adventurous spirit was tragically silenced on June 5, 2024 a day that saw the sun set on a life lived to the fullest, as he passed away due to a motorcycle accident.
Born January 5, 1995 a son of Sherry J. (Liddic) Paulhamus and Joseph M. Paulhamus, both of Williamsport.
Dustan's need for speed was rivaled only by his love for his family and friends. He was a man who could often be found with a sparkle in his eye and a piece of candy in his hand, embodying the joy and simplicity of life's sweet moments. His passion for fast cars was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his zest for life and the excitement he found in every turn.
Dustan's love for the outdoors was as vast as the open road he cherished. He found solace in the whisper of the trees on the golf course, and the quiet patience of a fishing line. Hunting, fishing, and camping were not just pastimes for Dustan; they were chapters in his personal anthology of adventure, written under the open sky.
To say that Dustan was devoted to his family would be an understatement. He was a pillar of strength, especially for his mother during her times of need. His unwavering support and presence were the bedrock upon which his family built their lives. Dustan's friends knew him as the first to offer help and the last to leave anyone in need. An extraordinary son and brother, who at the end of the day, knew family was most important. If you knew Dustan, you knew he would do anything for a cheeseburger and his most common lines were “You wanna see something cool” and “What up?”
Along with his parents, Dustan is survived by his brother, Logan Paulhamus; an uncle, Keith Liddic, both of Williamsport; two cousins who were like brothers, David Rossman and Eli Liddic, and many other cousins, extended family and dear friends. Dustan also leaves behind his beloved dog Cali.
Dustan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jane Liddic; paternal grandfather, Ernie Paulhamus; a cousin, Devon M. Liddic; and an uncle, Randy Paulhamus.
A funeral service to honor the life of Dustan will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Sanders.
