Dorothy M. (Yeagle) Sweeley

Dorothy M. Sweeley, 97, of Williamsport, died peacefully, Monday, August 10, 2020 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Helen Irene (Jacobs) Yeagle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert E. Sweeley on Dec. 7, 2014, a sister Martha Zimmerman and a grandson Chad Cohick.
She was a 1941 graduate of Williamsport High School. Dorothy was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking,  gardening, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Dorothy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters; Nancy Kohler (Lou Huther) of Williamsport, Donna Phillips (Robert) of Hughesville, and Helen Blank of Elimsport; two sons Donald Sweeley of Enola and Frank Sweeley of North Carolina, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Twin Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
