Diane M. Threehouse, 62, of Avis passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville following a brief illness.
Born on May 11, 1962, in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Edgar R. Lowe and Lucille (Askey) Lowe of Montoursville.
Diane was a graduate of Loyalsock Township High School. Diane dedicated over 20 years working as a Rehab Secretary at UPMC Williamsport, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness and compassion.
Family was the cornerstone of Diane's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Whether she was playing cards, sitting around a campfire, or simply sharing in the day-to-day joys of life, Diane's presence was a source of comfort and happiness.
Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she took great pride in her role as a grandmother, showering her grandkids with affection and teaching them the values of strength and independence that she herself embodied. Diane's adventurous spirit was matched only by her spunk and willpower; she was a woman who never complained, no matter the challenge, and her independence was a trait that inspired all who knew her.
Diane's zest for life extended to her many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales, was a voracious reader, and had a passion for traveling.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two children, Derek A. Threehouse and Danielle M. Wall (Shawn) all of Avis; three grandchildren, Adalynn, Haidyn, and Zain; her sisters, Julie Stine (Mike) of Dillsburg and Amy Woodley (Dwight) of South Williamsport; a sister-in-law, Denise Threehouse (Jeff) of Duboistown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Threehouse.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, October 4, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport.
