Darlene R. Oldweiler

Darlene R. (Kuns) Oldweiler, 67, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Highlands Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on December 15, 1956, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Doris (Stepp) Kuns. Darlene attended Williamsport High School and worked many years in housekeeping for local hotels. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, and collecting lighthouses. Darlene also loved being with her family and friends, and would often have Saturday nights reserved with them at the American Legion Post 1 in Williamsport. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Darlene is survived by her spouse, Oliver Oldweiler; two daughters, Heather Oldweiler and Amanda Marshall; one son, Justin Kuns; one brother, Frank Kuns; six grandchildren, Marcus, Maeghan, Josh, Zachary, Xander, and Thea; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Darlene was also preceded in death by three siblings, Kathleen Kuns, Sue Ann Bailey, and Linda Harman, and two granddaughters, Miranda Oldweiler and Tabitha Kuns.

A viewing to honor the life of Darlene will be held 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
