Charles H. Campbell

Charles H. Campbell, 89, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home.

He was the beloved husband of Alice M. (Reustle) Campbell, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage.

Born in Williamsport, Charlie was the son of the late Charles H. and Mildred L. (Bradley) Campbell.

His spent his career in the construction industry working for Trimtex, Lycoming Construction and retiring from Jas Co.

Charlie had a creative spirit and loved working with his hands, crafting beautiful wooden pieces that he proudly showcased at Art and Craft Shows.

He also had an adventurous side and enjoyed the excitement of visiting casinos and trying his luck at the slot machines. An avid outdoorsman, Charlie found joy in both hunting and fishing.

Above all, he cherished his family and was a devoted “Pop,” beaming with pride as he cheered on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their sporting events.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Campbell is survived by his sons, Michael and Donald Campbell; daughters, Katherine Kreamer and Carrol Knarr; grandchildren, Matthew Kreamer, Michelle Hess, Donald Campbell, Ashley Shoemaker, Valerie Bennett, Ryan Campbell-Tubbs, and Lacey Hunter; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Campbell, and his sisters, Connie Wilson, Esther Duval, and Sandy Chrissman.

Services will be held privately for the family.
