Beverly J. Gottschall, 89, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Roseview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is finally reunited with her late husband, Ronald L. Gottschall.
Born August 20, 1936, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late John, Sr. and Edna (Moore) Bower.
Beverly was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School and had a fulfilling career at the tax office for the Williamsport Area School District. Once she was blessed with her son, Timothy, she decided to become a stay-at-home mom, nurturing both her family and her home.
She was a proud member of Saint John’s Newberry United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for the WECC Store.
Above all, she will be remembered as a wonderful mother and mother-in-law with a refreshing strong willed, can-do attitude.
Beverly is survived by a son, Timothy W. Gottschall (Susan); a grand-daughter, Erin Gottschall; a brother, John Bower, Jr. (Liz); a niece, Katie De La Cruz (Eddie); and four great-nieces and nephews, Tyler, Thalia, Matthew, and Malia.
A memorial service to honor Beverly’s life will be held 1 p.m., Friday, April 17 at Saint John’s Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry Street, Williamsport, PA.
