Barbara J. Spring

Barbara J. Spring, 82, of Williamsport passed away peacefully Friday, December 20, 2024 at Valley View Nursing Center.

Born December 19, 1942 in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Pearl (Butters) Sechrist. 

Barbara was a graduate of Liberty High School and earned a business certificate. For over 20 years she was employed in the medical records office at the Williamsport Hospital. 

Barbara attended Liberty Lutheran Church as a child and currently attended First Church, Williamsport. She found great joy in solving puzzles and doing activities to keep her busy.

Surviving are a son, Scott Spring (Sue) of Liberty; a grandson, Jacob Spring (Taylor) of N.C.; a great grandson, Emmett; two siblings Sharon Covell of W.V. and Scott Sechrist (Melinda) of Williamsport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Norma Jean Compton.

Services will be held privately with burial at a later date in Union Cemetery, Liberty.
