Arthur W. Martz

Arthur W. Martz, 88, of Williamsport died peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Rose View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born November 15, 1935 in Williamsport he was a son of the late Francis M. and Frances S. (Dubendorf) Martz.

 A 1954 graduate of Williamsport High School, Art answered the call of duty and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. His unwavering commitment to his nation was evident through his two enlistments, until an injury led to his retirement. Art was a man of deep Christian faith, which guided him throughout his life and inspired those around him. 

He is survived by his loving sister, Mary L. Ungard; nieces and nephews, Susan Kalina (Mark), Steven Keller (Mona), Cynthia Solarek (Richard), and Lesa Keller; and several great nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, June M. Keller and a nephew, James Keller.

As per his wishes, no services will be held.
