Anna S. McKeague, 91, of Montoursville, formerly of South Williamsport, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Lewis C. McKeague, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2008.
Born July 28, 1933, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Loren and Mary (Peters) Scantlin. Anna graduated from Lock Haven High School and worked as a bookkeeper for various auto businesses, Vancampen being her last prior to retirement. She enjoyed reading and was always active in her church. She was a former member of Newberry Church of Christ, and most recently, First Christian Church of Montoursville.
Surviving are her two sons, Lewis “Lew” McKeague (Jeanne) of Forest, VA and Scott McKeague (Dailynn) of Pen Argyl; five grandchildren, Rachel, Erin, Matthew, Kylie, and Collin, and four great-grandchildren, Jaxen, Oaklynn, Michael, and Scarlett.
Along with her parents and husband, Anna was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Earl and Irvin and three sisters, Miriam, Jean, and Evelyn.
Funeral services to honor Anna’s life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at Dunnstown Cemetery in Lock Haven. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Sanders Mortuary.
