Angela Yvonne Morgan, 50, affectionately known as Angie to her friends and family, passed away unexpectedly from medical complications on Monday, January 27, 2025, at CMC Scranton Geisinger.
Born on March 11, 1974, in Williamsport, she was a daughter to the late Robert McCollin Sr. and Judy (Wertz) McCollin who survives her.
Following her high school years at Williamsport High School, she pursued a career in nursing, earning her LPN from the Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center. Angie devoted her nursing expertise to rehab centers, providing compassionate care to those in need of healing and support.
She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures; tending to her garden, hunting for antiques, and filling any space with joy and melody through her singing. A self-proclaimed Maxxinista, Angie delighted in the thrill of the hunt for the perfect bargain, a testament to her fun-loving and savvy nature.
Angie's wild sense of humor was a constant source of laughter and lightheartedness. She was humble by nature, never seeking recognition for her actions, even though she frequently went out of her way to help others. Her caring and generous spirit extended to everyone she met, and she was especially devoted to her family, whom she loved fiercely.
As a proud grandmother, Angie's eyes sparkled with joy whenever she spoke of her grandchildren. The love she had for her family was immeasurable.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Judy McCollin of Montgomery, are her husband of 12 years, David A. Morgan, Sr.; her children, Patrick Kennedy (Janine) of Allenwood, Kimberly Shek (Dmitriy), Joshua Bergenstock, Jeremy Bergenstock (Hillary) all of Milton, and David “DJ” Morgan Jr. (Mayer); 11 grandchildren, Madelyn, Makyla, Allison, Bentley, Hayden, Elijah, James, Cobin, Lincoln, Taven, and Leon, with a granddaughter on the way; a brother, Robert McCollin Jr. of Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael McCollin, a sister, Betty Wead, and a niece, Emily Wead.
A memorial service to honor Angie’s life will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Sanders.
