Aaron Patrick Kowalchuk, 32, of Montoursville passed away, Friday, January 9, 2026.
Born March 12, 1993 in Rochester, New York he was a son of Timothy J. and Linda R. (Colon) Kowalchuk.
In his youth, Aaron was actively involved in the Young Marines organization and dedicated himself to martial arts, earning the rank of black belt in Tae Kwon Do through discipline, perseverance, and hard work.
Aaron was a man of endless curiosity and quiet brilliance, known to many as a walking encyclopedia filled with knowledge and fascinating facts. A true lover of music and books, if a topic caught his interest, he would read it, absorb it, and remember it; making him exceptionally skilled at trivia and always a joy to be around in conversation. Aaron enjoyed creative and hands on hobbies, including 3D printing, brewing his own mead, and immersing himself in the imaginative worlds of Dungeons & Dragons. Above all, he deeply cherished his nephews, finding great joy in their lives, and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Copper, who was his constant companion and loyal friend.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister, Sarina Beasley (Brandon) of Pittsburgh and her sons, Porter and Weston; a brother, Matthew Kowalchuk (Emma) of Pleasant Gap; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Beach; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, January 16, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. A funeral service to honor Aaron’s life will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, January 17, at Sanders.
