Ronald L. Coleman, 59, of Williamsport, died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, due to a head injury from a fall he sustained at his hunting camp.
Born November 20, 1959 in Williamsport, he was a son of Jack L., Sr. and Roberta (Wahler) Coleman.
Ronald was a 1978 graduate of Williamsport High School. All his life Ronnie was a self-employed contractor with his family’s business Coleman Construction. He loved hunting and was a member of East End Hunting Club, where he would “take his gun for a walk”. He was a fan of the Oakland Raiders and enjoyed socializing at various clubs and mowing his lawn.
Surviving are his father Jack, Sr., of Williamsport, a son Zachary M. Coleman, (Melissa) of Ambler, two grandsons Benjamin and Dylan, a sister Glenda L. Wheeler (Bob) of Morris and a brother Dion L. Coleman (Mary Lou) of Williamsport, two nephews, one niece, and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother Jack L. Coleman, Jr.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15 at Garden View Church of Christ, 1941 Princeton Ave. Williamsport, followed by a memorial service to honor Ronnie’s life at 12:30 p.m.
The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions in Ronnie’s name to Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd. Williamsport, PA 17701.
