Rickie L. "Rick" Johns, Sr.

Rickie L. "Rick" Johns Sr., 66, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born Jan. 9, 1952, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Clyde W. and Mary M. (Orwig) Johns.
Rick retired from Valley View Nursing Home after 24 years of service. Earlier in life he was a volunteer fire fighter with South Williamsport Fire Department.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing guitar and going to his river lot.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Karen (Mann) Johns; children, Rickie L. Jr. (Sandra), of Montoursville, Timothy Lee (Janene), of Williamsport, Kieth William (Melissa Varner), of Williamsport, Amy Louise (Mark) Palmer, of Linden, Barbara Ann Johns (Donald Mashtare), of Perry County, Jennifer (Jamie) Daigle, of Williamsport, Sean Johns (Lisa Gehr), of Trout Run, Joey Craver, of Montoursville, and Patrick Johns (Sammy Blackman), of Alto, Texas; two step children, Amanda (Dylan) Smith and Tim (Crystal) MacGill, both of Williamsport; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
