Richard A. Mosteller

Richard  A. Mosteller, 63, of Williamsport, died peacefully  Wednesday,  August 8, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family, after his courageous battle for the last four years.

Born April 1, 1955 in Williamsport, he was a son of Burrows S. and Emma J. (Fessler) Mosteller.

Rick was a 1973 graduate of Montoursville High School and also attended trade school for sheet metal fabricating. He was a dedicated employee of AM Metal Specialties and loved doing his best at his job. Rick enjoyed the outdoors, motorcycling, and 4-wheeler riding, model trains, and sports, cheering for Penn State football, and watching baseball.  He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.

His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, and though quiet in many ways, his love always showed to his family and his pets Tikka, Myah, and Zeek.

Surviving are his wife Debra J. (Waltz) Mosteller whom he married September 25, 1976, two children Richard C. Mosteller of Loyalsock, and Holly G. Mosteller of Lock Haven, three sisters Beverly Ceraso of Williamsport, Karen Brion of Duboistown, and Darlene Carles (Phil) of Bellefonte, a sister-in-law Marilyn Bowers (Jim) of Montoursville, many nieces and nephews and his granddogs.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother William Becker.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Rick will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, at First Southern Baptist Church, 89 Kimble Hill Road Williamsport. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at church.

Burial will be private in Montoursville Cemetery.
