Ralph S. Fenstermacher, 68, of South Williamsport, died peacefully Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Valley View Nursing Center, where he had been a resident for a month.

Born January 19, 1949 in Muncy Valley, Sullivan County, he was a son of Alfred and Jane D.  (Gordner) Fenstermacher, Sr.

Ralph loved cars, he drove for Wright’s Auto Sales, and many other local independent dealerships, and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Ralph was a member of the Moose Lodge, South Williamsport. He enjoyed helping others and would give “the shirt off his back” if needed.

Surviving are his sister Bonnie J. Fenstermacher of South Williamsport, a good friend Travis Wright, and friends Robert and Janice Morehart, and his family’s “human in a fur coat” Buddy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother Ray S. Fenstermacher and a step-brother Eri V. Fenstermacher.

A memorial service to honor Ralph’s life will be held 6 p.m. Monday, November 20 at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St. Williamsport. Visitation will be held from 5:30 - 6 pm Monday.
