Olga B. "Jo" Vogt

Olga B. 'Jo' Vogt, 100, of Lewisburg, formerly of Williamsport, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.  
Born Nov. 18, 1918, she was the daughter to the late Nicholas and Julia Barbara Knapik. 
Jo was a 1936 graduate of Williamsport High School. She then married her loving husband, Daniel G. Vogt, and spent 68 years with him until his passing on August 3, 2009. Jo was a member of Beaver Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewisburg. She resided at Riverwoods Senior Living Community in Lewisburg at the time of her death, where she enjoyed knitting and playing cards and board games. She mostly loved spending time with her family and friends.  
Surviving are three children, Christie L.  Gillern (Bob Clark),  of Youngstown, Ohio, Barbara M. Lindeman (Ken), of Lansdowne, Pa., and Michele A. Cho (Danny), of Lewisburg, seven grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; and a sister, Peggy Ellmaker, of Montoursville. 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death her by brothers and sister.
A funeral service to honor the life of Jo will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, with Pastor J.T. Young officiating. A private family burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery, Montoursville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service, Saturday at Sanders Mortuary.
