Norman C. Hawk, 81, of Williamsport passed away Tuesday October 8, 2019 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born April 14, 1938 in Muncy, to the late George Norman and Jennie Pearl (Hamilton) Hawk.
Norman was employed by Brodart and Muncy Valley Hospital. He enjoyed watching Hee Haw, Lawrence Welk, and sipping on a cold Pepsi while eating Little Debbies.
Surviving are his children, George N. Hawk (April), of Canton TX, Rodney L. Hawk, of Fayette, Howard H. Hawk (Pam), of Vancouver WA, John E. Hawk (Jill), of Hopewell VA, and Sally A. Winkleman (Matt), of Williamsport; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and three sisters, Thelma George and Phyllis Haupt, both of Muncy and Betty Kilburn, of Hughesville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Penny E. Hawk, three brothers, George I. Hawk “Corky”, Carl Hawk, and Kenneth Hawk.
A funeral service to honor the life of Norman will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 10 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Sanders Mortuary.
