Michael K. "Mike" Kielwein, 58, of Williamsport, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home.
Born, November 1, 1960, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late William J. and Doris L. (Keller) Kielwein.
Mike was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Williamsport Area Community College where he earned an associate's degree. Mike worked for the Plumbers and Pipefitters UA Local 520 as a pipefitter for new construction and renovation for over 15 years all around central PA.
Mike enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, tinkering, and just being outdoors. He was a kind soul and was always happy to help fix anything you needed, so long as he could keep the spare parts to help others. Mike was raised Catholic, and was a member of the Harmonia Gesang Verein Club and the Sons of Italy Lodge 2786.
Surviving are; a son Trevor E. Kielwein of Lebanon N.H.; two daughters Danielle Kielwein of Hillsboro N.H. and Kaylin S. Kielwein of Concord N.H.; a sister, Kathleen Thompson (Michael) of Williamsport; three brothers Timothy Kielwein (Gayle) of South Williamsport, Patrick Kielwein of Harrisburg and Kevin Kielwein of Georgia; a dear aunt Elizabeth Ward of Williamsport; several other aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A memorial service to honor the life of Michael will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 2, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Sanders. In keeping with Mike's style, the family requests those attending his services on Saturday to wear casual and comfortable attire.
