Lorraine Saam Obituary

Lorraine M. Saam, 98, of Williamsport, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at AristaCare at Loyalsock.

Born April 11, 1920, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of Guy and Eleanore (Bryerton) Scheid.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Truman A. Saam, Sr. in

1988, a brother and a sister.

Lorraine was a 1939 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She had worked at Carrie's BBQ and was an assistant manager for S & H Green Stamps for 20 years. Lorraine was a member of St. John's -Newberry United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking.

Surviving are two sons; Truman A. Saam, Jr., of Williamsport and Robert W. Saam (Sandy) of Cogan Station; two granddaughters Lisa Saam and Amy Thatcher and one great-granddaughter Caitlyn Thatcher.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
