Lois N. Larson

Lois N. Larson, 87, of Williamsport, passed away with her son by her side on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Willard M. Larson, on December 1, 2010.

Born March 18, 1931 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Lillian (Howard) Dunlap.

Lois was a member of Williamsport Assembly of God Church. She retired from Divine Providence and Williamsport Hospitals as part of the Central Services Unit, where she had worked for more than fifteen years. Lois enjoyed traveling with her husband and son and had many memorable trips, but noteworthy ones being to Florida, Maine, the Smokey Mountains and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. She kept an immaculate house which was always decorated for the holidays and liked doing word puzzles. Lois especially liked green and blue colors, her favorite and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son, Ronnie A. Larson, of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Donna M. Burden, Julie M. Burden, Rachel M. Burden, and Henry R. Burden Jr.; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Burden, and a brother, Chester Dunlap.

A funeral service to honor the life of Lois will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 15 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, PA. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at Sanders Mortuary.
