Kenneth L. Dunkleberger

     Kenneth L. Dunkleberger, 84, of Williamsport, died peacefully, Monday, Aug. 12, 2019, at AristaCare of Loyalsock.

     Born March 22, 1935, in Williamsport, he was a son of LaRue and Ocie Elizabeth (Cox) Dunkleberger. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Ann Marie (Bruno) Dunkleberger, whom he married on Nov. 26, 1955.

     Ken was a 1953 graduate of Williamsport High School. He was the former owner of Todays Dream World Bridal Shop and Tuxedo Rental. He retired as a truck driver for Lucas Trucking.

     Ken was gifted with the ability to fix anything mechanical and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved fishing and traveling. He and Ann enjoyed spending time with their church family in both Joy Club at Faith Wesleyan and Young at Hearts at Community Baptist. Most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Kathleen Caputo (David), of Williamsport, Paul Dunkleberger (Sharon), of Williamsport, John Dunkleberger (Connie), of South Williamsport, and Laura Rader (Todd), of Williamsport; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a sister, Eileen Lewis, of Montoursville.

He was preceded in death by three siblings, Ronald and James Dunkleberger, and Gladys Vaughn.

     A funeral service to honor Ken's life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Faith Wesleyan Church, 1033 Tucker St., Williamsport with the Rev. Timothy K. Hartzell officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at church.

     The family requests no flowers; instead, memorial contributions in Ken's name may be made to Faith Wesleyan Church, 1033 Tucker St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or Community Baptist Church, 1853 Route 87 Montoursville, PA 17754.
