Julie A. Webster-Starr, 75, of Williamsport, passed away surrounded by family Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born February 18, 1944 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Julian L. and Beatrice M. (Nevill) Webster.
Julie was a graduate of Williamsport High School, a former member of Heavens Angels and was a self-employed day care provider. She was truly a caring and compassionate caregiver, watching numerous children throughout the years. Julie’s high energy personality made her a great fit for the kids that arrived through her doors. She was an extraordinary party host with incredible decorations for all holidays but especially during Halloween and Christmas. Julie loved to tell stories and had a special way about her, sharing her words of wisdom at a time right when one would need a pick me up. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family and cherished spending time with them.
Surviving are her three children; Tammi L. Laurenson (Ben), Timothy L. Britton (Shelly) and Jack W. Britton all of Williamsport; eight grandchildren, Alex Britton, Breanna Blazer, Tyler, Vance and Kristin Britton, Zack Geary, Zane and Bryce Britton; nine great-grandchildren, a sister Nancy Costanza (Dominick); a brother, William Webster (Betty); several extended family members and her beloved cat, Booty.
In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Webster.
A funeral service to honor the life of Julie will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the start of service on Thursday at Sanders. Burial will be held privately.
