Judith A. Nesbitt

Judith A. Nesbitt, 78, of Williamsport, died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at the Williamsport Home.

Born Dec. 22, 1940, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late James T. and Marguerite E. (Connolly) Nesbitt.

Judy was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School. She began her career with Bell of PA and then AT&T, retiring in 1994 as a group manager with 36 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, and had served on many organizations and committees within the church. Judy was a member of the Clio Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 7863 DuBoistown. For over 40 years Judy was a Penn State Football Season Ticket holder cheering for her beloved Nittany Lions.

Surviving are special cousins, Mary Cassidy, of Montoursville, Katherine Kocher, of Williamsport, and James Bailey, of Etters; two goddaughters, Kelley Imbro and Holly Olson; and many other beloved family members. Judy treasured the dear friendship of Eileen Murphy, of Williamsport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
