Jerry Lee Kyle, 74, of Williamsport went to be with his Lord Tuesday July 9, 2019 at his home. Surviving is his loving wife of 47 years Grace Marie (Holzworth) Kyle.
Born April 29, 1945 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Raymond E. and Esther V. (Lowmiller) Kyle.
He was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport High School and attended W.A.C.C., earning a certificate in electrical construction. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was employed by PPL as an underground repairman for 37 years, until his retirement.
Jerry was an active life member of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, who served the church in many capacities.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Donna Ward (Robert), of Perry, GA.; his nieces and nephews, Tracey Knauss (Randy), Vickie Dgien (Tony), Kevin Young (Nikki), Sherri Ward, Keith Ward, Kathi Stewart (Joel), and David Draper(Barbara) ; his great nieces and nephews, Adriana and Serena Knauss, Nicole, Jacob, Rebecca, Hannah, and Sarah Dgien, Brett Young, Ellie, Luke, and Ava Stewart, Keegan, Kendalton and Kordell Draper; and a brother-in-law, Jonathan Holzworth (Tammy).
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jack Young.
A funeral service to honor the life of Jerry will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 15 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday at Sanders. Burial with Military honors will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
