James L. "Jimmy" Miller, 72, of South Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Ethel E. (Lunt) Miller.
Born November 13, 1946, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Theodore A. and Beatrice Jane (Billhimer) Miller.
Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a salesman at Van Campen Motors for over 20 years. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing, and delighting in a good cigar. In his earlier years, Jim along with his father and brother enjoyed picking and selling antiques.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Jamie Miller (Margaret "Maggie") of South Williamsport; two grandchildren, Lydia Phillips (Brett) of Oklahoma and James "Jim" Neufer of South Williamsport; one great-grandson, Cash Phillips; one brother, Theodore A. Miller (Rosie) of Cogan Station; two sisters, Patricia Phoenix (Allen) and Donna Lambert, both of Williamsport; and oodles of nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Miller and his beloved Jack Russell dog; Bluto.
In keeping with his wishes no services will be held.
