Grace E. Rizzo, 70, of Williamsport, died peacefully Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.

Born December 10, 1946 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of John R. and Dorothy (Shaible) Tilburg.

Grace was a 1964 graduate of Montgomery High School. Following her graduation from high school, she began her lifelong career at Little League International where she worked for the last 53 years and currently was employed as executive secretary. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Elimsport, and was part of the “Helping Hands Group “at church. Grace enjoyed reading and sewing. She was committed to her daily devotional and Bible study.

Surviving are her mother Dorothy of Elimsport, a sister Gloria Dieffenbacher (Rodnie) of Montoursville, step-sons Anthony R. Rizzo, Sr. and Franklin L. Rizzo, Jr., many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, several aunts, uncles and cousins, and also all of her  “Little League Family“ who she loved so dearly.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband of 14 years Franklin L. Rizzo, Sr. in 1993.

A funeral service to honor the life of Grace will be held 11:30 Friday December 8 at St. John’s United Methodist Church 715 Pikes Peak Road Elimsport, with Pastor Michael A. Hill officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at St. John’s U.M.C.
