Gerald E. Walizer

     Gerald E. “Jerry” Walizer,85, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at The Garden at Millville. Surviving is his wife of 32 years, Roxanna M. (Lauver) Walizer.

     Born October 30, 1932, in Mifflinburg, he was a son of the late Clifford and Thema (Geary) Walizer.

     Jerry was a high school graduate and attended two years of seminary school. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired as a self-employed contractor.

     He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, and vegetable gardening. Most of all Jerry loved spending time with his beloved dog, Sassy.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, four step-children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, five brothers, and four sisters.

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

     In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to a local soup kitchen of the donor’s choice.
