"God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So he put His arms around you and whispered

With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best."

I am sorry to hear that Gary had passed away. In 1970 when I was going to college in California, PA Gary was working in Monessen, PA and gave me a ride back to school after a weekend at home. I'm sure this came about due to my mother Eleanor and Lydia talking to each other. As we were going south on Rt. 88 the fog was so thick, from smog or the weather, that we both opened our doors to watch the painted road lines slowly go by to guide us down the road so he didn't go off the road! I got to school on time but never knew if he got back up the river on time. I have never forgoten his generosity!
