Frank E. “The Agitator” Levengood, 66, of Loyalsock, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born January 20, 1953, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Ed and Mary (Yena) Levengood.
Frank was a graduate of Williamsport High School and worked as a custodian at Loyalsock Township School District for 33 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #145, South Williamsport.
He enjoyed animals, spending time with kids, NASCAR, and the LA Chargers. Frank never met a stranger, he could often be found making new friends and enjoyed catching up with students who he had met while working at Loyalsock. He was an avid lover of trains, many times throughout the day he could be found chasing the whistling sound from different Engines across Lycoming County.
Surviving is his sister Kathy Kiessling (Bernie), of Loyalsock; his nieces and nephews, Brenda Scott (Kevin), of Loyalsock, B.J. Kiessling, of Williamsport, Sandy Lundy (L.D.), of Montoursville, Keith Keown, of KY, and Deanna Buchanan, of FL; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Litzelman and a niece Kay Keown.
A funeral service to honor the life of Frank will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 19 at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Jersey Shore Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p. m. Monday, February 18 at Sanders Mortuary.
