Frances L. Parsons, 94, of Williamsport, died Sunday May 21, 2017 at Rose View Center.

Born December 12, 1922 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Edward M. and Dorothy M. (Chubb) Parsons.

Frances was a 1942 graduate of Williamsport High School and retired from GTE Sylvania after 21 years. She was a member of St. John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church, and also a member of the Sr. Citizens at Messiah Lutheran Church and enjoyed crafts.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and his wife Lewis and Mabel Parsons.

A graveside service to honor Frances’s life will be held at the convenience of the family in Buchanan Cemetery.
