Ellouise T. Harvey, 86, of Trout Run, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna.
Born Nov. 2, 1931 in Elmira, New York, she was a daughter of the late Carson and Edith (Robinson) Price.
Ellouise retired as a sewing machine operator from Glamorize after more than 30 years of service. In retirement she worked with Helping Hands as a caregiver and also babysat her grandchildren, who she adored. Ellouise was part of the Trout Run UMC Senior Citizens and the Silver Sneakers at the Williamsport YMCA. She enjoyed water aerobics, crafts and going camping.
Ellouise will fondly be remembered for her wild and charming personality and her natural ability to bring life to any party. More than anything she loved her family, her pride and joy, who she will continue to live on in their hearts.
Surviving are four children; Clyde (Maureen) Whiteman II, Carlene (Garry) Macgill all of Trout Run, Lisa (Gary) Sellard of Montandon, and Paul Whiteman of Trout Run; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Helen Whiteman of South Williamsport, several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
In addition to her parents, Ellouise was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Whiteman, Sr., her second husband, Carl J. Harvey, a son George Whiteman and seven siblings; Dorothy Kitchen, Marland Price, Evelyn O'Brien, Charlotte Robinson, Ralph and Daryl Price and Phyllis Bryan.
A funeral service to honor the life of Ellouise will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Sanders. Burial will be held privately.
