Edward C. “Fast Eddie” Kiessling, 66, of Williamsport, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his home.
Born August 24, 1952 in Williamsport, he was a son of John A. Kiessling (Joan) and Norma E.(Brown) Brown (Albert).
“Fast Eddie” was a 1971 graduate of Williamsport High School. For many years he was a self-employed master contractor and for the past five years he worked as a codes officer for the City of Williamsport.
Ed enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and riding his Harley. His family was his pride and joy, as he was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be fondly remembered for his ability to fix anything, his selflessness in helping anyone in need and being the best grandfather ever.
Surviving in addition to his dad Albert Brown is, his beloved ex-wife and best friend Becky Kiessling-Underwood of Williamsport; three sons, Jason M. Kiessling of Williamsport, Ezra C. Kiessling (Tara) of Coal Township, and Wes A. Kiessling (Melissa) of Cogan Station; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother Bernard J. Kiessling (Kathy) of Loyalsock; a sister Deborah A. Carestia (Steve) of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Norman C. Kiessling.
A funeral service to honor the life of Edward will be held 6 pm Wednesday November 14, at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond Street Williamsport. A viewing will be held from 4:30-6 pm on Wednesday at Sanders.
