Dorothy Barrow Obituary

Dorothy E. Barrow, 76, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Aristacare. Surviving is her loving husband of 54 years, Robert E. Barrow, with whom she married on July 11, 1964.

Born December 3, 1942 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Ruth E. (Tyler) Bordinger.

Dorothy was a 1960 graduate of South Williamsport Area High School. She had been employed at Lee A. Viard Tax Consultant as a bookkeeper for 27 years until her retirement in 2004. She attended Northway Presbyterian Church. She loved taking trips to watch ball games with her husband and the company of their cats; Calie, Tiger, and Elly.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a cousin, Marcella Lynn of Williamsport.

A funeral service to honor the life of Dorothy will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Ogdensburg Cemetery, Ogdensburg. A visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
