David J. Threehouse

David J. Threehouse, 57, of Avis, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.

Born Oct. 16, 1962 in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of Barbara (Cuddy) Threehouse, of Williamsport, and the late John Threehouse.

David was employed for the past 35 years at Bimbo Bakeries. He was a member of the Avis American Legion. He enjoyed being outdoors riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, dirt bikes, and trips around the Pine Creek Valley. David was a shortwave radio and ham radio operator. He loved listening to '80s music on his computer, and was a wonderful Pap to his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Diane M. (Lowe) Threehouse; a son, Derek A. Threehouse; a daughter, Danielle M. Wall (Shawn), all of Avis; three grandchildren, Adalynn, Haidyn and Zain; a sister, Denise Schooley, of Duboistown; two nieces, Jamie Lundy, and Janel Dobson (Kevin); a great-niece, Shea, and his beloved cat, Sissy.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marion Cuddy.

In keeping with his wishes services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
