David E. "Billy" Hinkal

     David Edward "Billy" Hinkal, 74, of Williamsport, died Thursday, March 7, 2019, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.

     Born April 2, 1944, in Wilmington, N.C., he was a son of the late Merill Winfield and Mildred Estella (Hosan) Hinkal.

     Billy was a graduate of Williamsport High School. Following graduation he served 11 years in the U.S. Navy. He later retired from Valley Farms Dairy and was a member of the Teamsters Union.

     Billy enjoyed building models and painting. He was a skilled marksman especially with his rifles. Most of all Billy loved and cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his two daughters, Naomi E. Sechler (Lewis), of Manchester, Md.; and Sara E. Hinkal, of Michigan; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kirsten Sechler, a brother, Ronald Hinkal (Barbara), of Williamsport, and two nephews, Brett and Brian.

     In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the Susquehanna Health Foundation c/o The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
