Clarence R. "Ralph" McErn, 69, of Williamsport died Monday, July 24, 2017, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.
Born Sept. 8, 1947, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Clarence E. and Virginia M. Fishburn McErn.
Ralph retired from the maintenance department at Lycoming College. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Citizens Fire Department of South Williamsport.
He is survived by his sisters, Donna (Glenn) Laughrey and Mary (James) Watt, both of Williamsport; eight nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Donna Smaltz; and siblings, Joseph Passuello, Mildred Ward and Donald McErn.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
