Christopher A. Gale, 47, of Jersey Shore, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.
Born June 7, 1971, in Washington, he is a son of John E. Gale, of Yardley, and Lynne M. (Woodcock) Gale, of Lewisburg.
Chris was employed by Avis Building Supply and was an active volunteer firefighter. He volunteered his time serving with the Topton and Avis Volunteer Fire Companies and also was a social member of the Milton Fire Department. Chris could always be found working on his Crown Victoria Fire Car or sharing his musical talents.
Surviving in addition to his mother and father are his fiance, Christine M. Kresen, of Jersey Shore; five children, Emilio Gale, Whitney (Michael) Davis, Marcus Gale, Vincent Bastian and Sean Gale; five grandchildren; three siblings; Emily S. (Renee) Gale, of Williamsport, Nicholas E. Gale and Gina A. (Robert) Buck, all of Sunbury; an aunt; two cousins, six nieces and nephews and a dear circle of friends.
A funeral service to honor the life of Chris will be held 7 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A viewing will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Sanders.
