Beverly J. Phillips, 90, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Earl A. Phillips, the love of her life, on Jan. 2, 2011.
Born June 17, 1928, in Montoursville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Jeanette (Cupp) Stine.
Bev was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a self-employed caregiver. She was the artist and creator behind Bev's Ceramics, where you could often find her set up at local flea markets selling a variety of her works, especially quilts, rugs, ceramics and wall hangings. Bev enjoyed Friday night dinner dates with her husband before his passing and hosting her family's Christmas Eve gathering. Her energetic personality and wonderful heart will surely be missed.
Surviving are her four children, Kathleen Lowe (Randy Musser), of Linden, Nancy Persun (Lou), of Florida, Daniel Phillips (Donna), of Duboistown, and H. Todd Phillips, of Trout Run; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Stephen Stine (Jane), of Montoursville; and her beloved Golden Retrievers, Penny and Ginger.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Abram Chad Phillips; a granddaughter, Lori Suzannah Lowe; two brothers; and a sister.
A funeral service to honor the life of Beverly will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 29 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 at Sanders.
