Ange R. DeTato

Ange R. Detato, 65, of Montoursville, died peacefully Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. 

Born April 29, 1953 in Berwick, he was a son of the late Ramon and Area (Harvey) DeTato.

Ange was a 1971 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and also graduated from Williamsport Hospital Respiratory Therapy School. He was owner of Bald Eagle Rocks and Gems.  Ange had a love for everything art he was an artist, musician, a member of the Bald Eagle Art League and the Billtown Blues Association.

Surviving are his wife Marjory A. (Sutton) DeTato of Williamsport; two sons, Damon R. DeTato (Kristin) and Adam DeTato both of Montoursville; two grandchildren; Dannika M. DeTato and Oliver A. DeTato; mother of his sons, Diane M. DeTato; Mother in law, Linda C. Sutton; a grandmother Irene DeTato of Montoursville; sister in law Theresa DeTato; two nephews Dana and Travis (Courtney) DeTato; and his dog Bella.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Vern A. DeTato on May 7, 2018.

A celebration of Ange’s life will be held Monday July 2nd, from 5pm -8pm at Herman & Luther’s, 787 State Rte. 87, Montoursville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ange’s name may be made to Susquehanna Health Foundation Care of the Gatehouse or Susquehanna Health Cancer Center 1001 Grampian Boulevard Williamsport, PA 17701.
