Albert W. "Bill" Fink, 92, of Williamsport, went to Heaven to see his wife, who preceded him 16 years ago, on her birthday Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Bill and his wife, Helen A. (Kuna) Fink shared 50 years of marriage.
Born July 26, 1926, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Greer and Bertha (Lord) Fink.
Bill was the general manager for the Williamsport Water Authority for 20 years and retired from General Crushed Stone.
He served in the Navy during World War II where he operated a submarine in the Pacific Theater.
Bill enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid turkey hunter.
Bill is survived by five children: Vonda (Steve) Fox, of Florida, Mary Fink, of Lock Haven, Albert (Judy) Fink Jr., of Williamsport, Joan Fink, of Williamsport and Thomas (Linda) Fink, of Williamsport; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Edna Kemerer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 10, at Sanders, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, with a Rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m.
