Pauline L. Kelley, 88, of Williamsport, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence. She was the loving wife of the late Ray Kelley, who went to heaven before her in 1999.
Born on May 6, 1935, in Emporium, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Cecile (Dill) Leavitt. Growing up, Pauline enjoyed family time in the Leavitt swimming hole and riding on the handlebars of her bicycle down Moore Hill. She was employed with GTE Sylvania in Emporium for 10 years before retiring after 27 from the Williamsport location. Pauline was generous to a fault because of her larger-than-life heart. She was devoted to serving the Lord, always witnessing his good grace and caring for others. She lived by the acronym, J.O.Y., Jesus, Others, You, always putting the needs of someone else’s before her own.
Pauline is survived by her step-son Gary (Sue) Kelley of Yaphank, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
Along with her parents, and loving husband whom she treasured, Pauline was also predeceased by a sister, Betty Smith, and two brothers, George and Charles Leavitt.
Funeral services to honor the life of Pauline will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3200 Lycoming Creek Rd., Williamsport. Burial will follow at Montoursville Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the church.
