Gage A. Rothermel

Gage Alexander Rothermel, 27, of New Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Born on July 1, 1996 in Williamsport he was the son of Regina (Rinehults) Rothermel and James “Jim” Rothermel, II (Jerri).

Gage attended Muncy High School and was employed in customer service. He was very intelligent and made great company for conversation. He enjoyed computer programming and software development, and was delighted to share his knowledge on the subject. He participated in online gaming with his friends and was great with polymer plastic 3D printing. Being musically inclined, Gage listened to a variety of music genres. He played many different instruments and attended numerous concerts. Gage loved spending time with his bunny, Harley, and his brother Billy and nephews. He also enjoyed having welding sessions with his dad and friends.  

Along with his parents, Gage is also survived by his maternal grandparents Gary and Melanie Rinehults; paternal grandmother, Joann Rothermel; a brother, William “Billy” Haines (Jena); two sisters, Gabriella and Tessa Rothermel; one aunt, Nicole Warden; and two uncles, Gary and Josh Rinehults; a niece, Gilly and two nephews, Leo and Liam; girlfriend, Mariah Markle; and his beloved bunny, Harley.

Gage was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Rothermel.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, services will be private.
