Ann V. Lundy, 81, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. She was the loving wife of 34 years to Kenneth “Ken” B. Lundy whom she married August 4, 1989.
Born on January 21, 1943, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Richard J. and Jeanne (MacLaren) Vanderlin. Ann graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1960 and began a career in retail. Over the years, Ann managed numerous clothing stores in the area including Smart Shop, The Estee Lauder counter at Bon-Ton and the former Vanderlin Cleaners. Not only did Ann work in clothing and cosmetic retail, she was passionate about shopping and fashion. Her impeccable taste and sense of style were evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Ann was a member of the Williamsport Junior League and the former Ascension Catholic Church. For many years she was a volunteer at the Breast Health Center at Divine Providence Hospital. She enjoyed traveling (especially to Ogunquit, ME and Sanibel Island, FL), watching the Hallmark channel and spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Ann is also survived by four daughters, Deborah Marquis (Jon) of Bradenton, FL, Amy Bausinger (Troy) of Yardley, Tanya Zimmerman (Andrew) of Dumont, NJ, and Danielle Erringer (Keith) of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Marquis of Tuscan, AZ, Rick Marquis (Anna) of Wasilla, AK, Tyler Bausinger (Caroline) of Charleston, SC, Allie Bausinger of Yardley, Sam and Jack Zimmerman of Vail, CO, Christopher Erringer of Pittsburgh, and Kevin Erringer of Pittsburgh; twelve great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren, a sister, Karen Kancevicius (Vito) of Hughesville, and a brother, Steve Vanderlin of Williamsport, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Vanderlin.
A funeral service to honor the life of Ann will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Sanders.
