Steven W. Powell. 55, of Williamsport died Saturday July 29, 2017 at his home.

Steven was born September 1, 1961, in Danville, IL, a son of the late Junior D. and Phyllis A. (Cheeseman) Powell.  February 14, 1983,  he married Barbara Burchett, who survives.

Steven was a fueling leadman for Maximun Petrolium and earlier in life he had worked for Harrison Steel Casting for 18 years.  He had served honorably in the Indiana National Guard.  In Steven’s spare time he enjoyed working on cars.

In addition to his wife of 34 years, Steven is survived by a son, Michael, Williamsport, daughter, Alisha (Chad) Gilmore, Irving, IL; five grandchildren, Perry Garriet, Gage Piatt, Kendra Gilmore, Richard Gilmore and Amelia Powell; and two siblings, Tracey Powell and Lori Powell and a step-sister Theresa.

Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin.

 Services will be at the convenience of the family.
