Sally A. Ireland, 82, of Williamsport, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Williamsport Home.

Born June 24, 1935 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Milo and Mary (Gehr) Ireland. She was preceded in death by three brothers Milo, Jack and Dean “Bill” Ireland.

Sally was a 1953 graduate of Williamsport High School. She had worked for over 30 years in the payroll department of the Sun-Gazette.

Surviving are nieces and nephews Mark and Gina Ireland and sons, Darcy and Deanna Ireland, extended family Yvonne, Lisa, and Torirose Carlin of Muncy, Brian and Abbegail Carlin of Williamsport, Isabel Buttorf of South Williamsport, and dog Max.

Visitation will be held from  4-5 p.m. Friday, July 7 at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St. Williamsport.

A memorial service to honor the life of Sally will follow at 5 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be private in Stoltz Cemetery Cogan Station.
