Mary Ann Freeman-Jones Obituary

Mary Ann Freeman-Jones, 65 of Williamsport, and formerly of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, Tuesday February 7, 2018 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.

Born August 12, 1952 in Pittsburgh she was a daughter of Lenzeno Freeman and Ollie Mary Macon.

Mary Ann was a certified nursing assistant for over forty years, working in Jersey City. She loved her family and her many dear coworkers and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Calvin Jones, Jr. of Jersey City, a son, Calvin Jones, III (Dayna) of Williamsport; a daughter, Ollie Rebecca Ellis (Melvin) of Pittsburgh; a step daughter Michelle Jones of Jersey City, NJ; grandchildren, Roneice Berry, Jacovia Jones Zaire and Zaira Mays, Zoriah Hill, Zaria Daniels, and Zyhmir Jones; great grandchildren, Kymir Cogdell-Freeman and Amoni Cogdell-Ray; a sister Rosemary Freeman-Lane, and many other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Charnita Cogdell, a brother Theodore Zigler and a sister Ellen Bey.

Services will be announced at the convenience of the family.
