Marie A. Cohick, 89, of Williamsport, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Williamsport Home.
   Born April 10, 1922 in Montoursville, she was a daughter of Chris and Lena Goodbrod Shoup. She married William E. Cohick on Jan. 21, 1944. As wife to her husband serving in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, she lived in various locations throughout the U.S. and in Japan. Following the war, Marie and William set residency in Syracuse, NY. In 1964, Marie and her family moved to Reading, MA, where they resided for 32 years prior to returning to her place of birth in Williamsport.
   She was a 1942 graduate of Williamsport High School. Marie was a proud homemaker and had a love of flowers and literature. She was a member of thePoet’s Corner and the Reading Garden Club.
   Surviving in addition to her husband William Cohick, are: two daughters Barbara A. Ligoci-Babcock of Liverpool, NY and Susan C. Basta of Norwood, MA; three grandchildren, Sherri Foil, Kim Ligoci-Williams, and Lisa Ligoci; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Fenderson of CA.
   She was preceded in death by two sisters Edith Hill and Fannie Clarke.
   Visitation will be held from 10-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 S. Howard St. South Williamsport, a memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at church. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
