Larry T. Wileman, 75, of Williamsport, passed away with family by his side on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Bonnie Wileman.
Born August 17, 1941, in Williamsport, Larry was a son of the late Charles and Marion (Lutz) Wileman.
Larry was a 1961 graduate of Williamsport High School, and still remained active as part of his class reunion committee. He worked at Rayovac, Bethlehem Steel for 25 years and retired in 2003 from Lunaire.
Larry and Bonnie loved being together and traveling. Larry enjoyed working in his yard and feeding the birds. He took great pride in his landscaping and took classes at Penn State for horticulture and landscaping. Larry was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Along with his wife Bonnie, Larry is survived by his niece and nephew, Stefanie (Mark) Hostrander of Reading, and Tom Kinney of Williamsport; and great nephews, Steven, and Jared Hostrander and Brian Kinney and great niece, Alecia Pricher. Larry is also survived by his wonderful friends, Debbie and Dutch Bogaczyk and their children, Tyler and Ryan, Susie and Rick Rider and their son Matthew Rider; his best friends Corey Way and Gary Hinston and his beloved dog, Martini.
Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Kinney and a brother, Charles Wileman.
A memorial service to honor the life of Larry will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
