Larry R. “Woo Cat” Wurster, 56, of Williamsport, died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 30, 2017.

Born March 24, 1961 in New Haven, CT, a son of Larry and Louise (Elec) Wurster.

Larry was a 1979 graduate of Williamsport High School and had worked as a carpenter all his life. He loved being with his family and adored his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Williamsport, are his wife Candis A. (Crawley) Wurster, two children Zachery Wurster and Amber Wurster both of Williamsport, three grandchildren Taylen, Tehgan, and Teanna,  six siblings Duane Wurster, Susan Ring, Robin Melvin, Kimberly Howler, Melissa Fisher, and Jason Wurster and step-grandson David Watts.

He was preceded in death by his father and his first wife of 35 years Debra A. (Webber) Wurster who died Sept. 4, 2015.

Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St. followed by a memorial service to honor Larry’s life at 6 p.m.
