Kathryn A. Rook, 89, of Montoursville died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at Valley View Nursing Center.
Born August 3, 1928 in Fleetwood, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Eva Barrell Boyer.
Kathryn was a 1946 graduate of Montoursville High School and was a piano teacher for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to sing.
Surviving are her children, Sylvia Rook, of Williamsport and Gregory Rook, of Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Horace L. "Beany" Rook, July 26, 1996.
A graveside service to honor the life of Kay and Beany will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sanders Mortuary.
